On August 13th, 2009 the Putnam County Fair Board had a ceremony dedicating the log cabin that had been moved to and
erected on the fairgrounds. This log cabin is the place of an exhibit honoring the Century Farms in Putnam County. Eight Century
Farms were honored in 2009 and four more in 2010.Plaques were placed on the inside wall of the cabin with the name of
the farm and year established. A century farm is a farm that has been in the same family for 100 years and produces at least
$1000.00 of farm income annualy. For more info on the century farm program
